Cost
$10 ($5 to club that ran race, $5 to series for prizes and any other costs incurred)
Additional $15 Day license required if you don't have an MTBA race license (for an annual license see your club)
Categories
People are to choose the category they want to race in themselves. If there is a large winning margin in any category (apart from elite) then the committee may move that person up a category, this may affect their series points.
We will use expected race times to determine the lap length and number of laps for each category

Points
Individual points
Based on MTBA points system - 80, 65, 55, 48 etc for each category. There will be a prize for individual series placegetters at the last race.
Club points
Based on the top 2 (may change according to numbers) riders for each club in each category, their points will be added up to work out the points for each club. eg
- Elite
- Bill (WW) 80
- Bob (TMB) 65
- Jill (WW) 55
- Ben (BW) 48
- Joe (AW) 43
- Larry (AW) 38
So, Bill and Jill's points will be added together for Wagga (135), Joe and Larry's points will be added together for AWMTB (81) etc. This will happen for each category.
Prizes
Major prize two-night weekend stay on Mt Buller in Jan 2010 for two people. Riders must do 4 out of the 5 races to be in the draw. To be drawn at the last race.
- Spot prizes for each round: 1x MTB magazine subscription from Bicycling Australia, 1x $100 Ground Effect voucher and 1x $20 Ground Effect voucher
- Placegetters of each category for each round given a certificate
- Overall individual category winners: Elite $500, expert and sport A & B category winner overall prizes yet to be determined
- All overall placegetters in all categories to receive a medal
Winning club
Will be determined at the end of the series. Massive club cup is up for grabs. To be presented at final round.
