There are 2 options for Membership with Albury Wodonga Mountain Bikers (AWMTB).

Option #1 - Club only

The first option is people can just join AWMTB where you will become a member with us and get the club newsletter, regular club emails with "what's on", be able to purchase the club jersey and kit, participate in all club social rides and events and get all the club benefits of being able to meet like minded people and make new friends to go riding with. If you compete in any of our club races you will need to purchase a $15 day licence for each race you do. Annual Albury Wodonga Mountain Bikers membership fees:

Adults: $ 20.00 per year

Juniors: $ 5.00 per year (U-19)

Option #2 - Club + MTBA 'Race' Licence

The second option is is to join both AWMTB and Mountain Bike Australia (MTBA). This is for those riders that want to compete in races as well as participate in the social side of the club. Joining MTBA as well gives you a 12 month 'race' licence. It is worthwhile considering purchasing a MTBA licence if you plan to do a few races each year as you won't have to purchase a $15 'day licence' each time you compete in a race. Your MTBA licence covers you for a rolling 12 month period at all MTB races throughout Australia including state & national level events (and all club races). This is what most club members generally do as they can then participate in all of our cross country(XC) and downhill(DH) events without paying the extra $15 at each race for a day licence. The MTBA licence is also an insurance cover for you whilst mountain biking under club events giving you medical benefits in the event of an accident (Conditions Apply).

MTBA annual licence fees

Senior: $100.00

Junior: $ 75.00 (U-19)

CA / BMXA licence holder: $50.00 (must have valid Cycling Australia or BMXA Licence with 3 months remaining)

Renewals

If you are renewing both your AWMTB and MTBA licence the preferred way is for members to renew directly through the MTBA online website. It is fast, secure and efficient and you will get your membership card in the shortest possible time with no delays. When you go through the steps on the site just select 'Albury Wodonga Mountain Bikers' as your club and it will automatically renew your AWMTB as well as your MTBA licence.
