The 'Hamblin Hire' Nail Can Hill MTB Ride. Saturday May 2nd 2009
This year's Nail Can is on again with the event being held on Saturday afternoon at 2pm on the 2nd of May. The start will be at Lavington Panthers as usual and the finish will be at the end of Range Rd on the new single track purpose built for mountain biking. The course will be the same as last year with only a minor change at the end around the Goat Track/Roxy's Ramble area. The length will still be around 15km with some awesome flowing single track that Nail Can is famous for. Make sure you pre enter to save $10 on the entry fee. Start training hard now and be on the start line for chance to do your best. Remember if you only do 1 MTB race a year this is the one to make a name for yourself and better last year's place. And for the serious guys out there, this IS the race to win.
Entry forms and Race info here
The Ironman/woman challenge will still be on for people that enter both the MTB ride and the Run on Sunday morning. The winner of this will be the person with the fastest aggregate time over both events. This will give people the chance to do both the ride and run with a night's rest in between. Entrants must register for both the MTB Race and Nail Can Hill Run.
Thanks to Hamblin Hire for their support of AWMTB.
